I have my 2 Eclipse SW6200's in my truck right now, but soon will be building the new box for my Camry to put them in... I totally forgot what the suggested Volume of the box should be per sub... I am obviously going to do 1 sealed box with a Divider in the center to separate the subs, but i think the reccomended size of the box for each sub is 2cuft.

Am I right ... here is the diagram via Eclipse's website

You don't need a divider. I'd just make a 4 cu ft box.

how thick of wood are you using... And if its a straight long cut front and back.. No angles in the wood, i would lightly brace it...

just wondering if you thought about 1 inch. maybe save the bracing. But i dont know im partial to putting a coat or two of fiber glass on the inside of my boxes. Really i feel stiffens them up very well. But what kinda bracing did you have in mind. If you put the barrier in between the two subs that will really stiffen up the box also. Rather then say a 36 inch by 14 front board. it would be more like a 18 by 14 much smaller surface area but even then these subs shouldnt really beat up your box to bad... Light bracing never can hurt.

4cf would be fine.. use a 2x4 in the middle for bracing. it shouldnt need much..

thats what i was thinking about doing with the 2 by 4 but then again im also thinking about doin the resin on the inside as well, its much easier for me to do that since i have some extra resin around.
