The old retail on them before the buyout from us amps was $215. I bet the retail on them is around $430!! The Fi SSD will have more ouput than an SE, but a little less sq, but the Q will have the sound quality of the SE and the ouput of the SSD. But, dont think the SSD doesnt have any sq... the SSD is based for a good daily driven, loud sub. And the Q is an sq based sub that happens to get loud. Unless you can find a good price on the SE's, i would go with the FI SSD's.

Unless you are a person who can really tell the sq difference in woofers.... from 2 good woofers that is, go with the SSD. The SSD will be capable of getting louder and capable of handling more power.

oh yea. I would probably get the copper coil too. Just remember, box design is key. Make sure you go by Fi's reccommendations and make the box right.

ok the options on the ssd are a flatwind coil and a copper coil what is the purpose/difference they will make

Flatwound probably gives more surface area for cooling. The copper coil definately gives cooling improvements over other metals. Not sure what the standard coil metal is.
So basically, more power handling.
