Welcome to CAC Geoff... Don't worry about the whole asking questions thing... that's why we're here... We may make fun of you a lil bit, but once you start looking around you'll see it's all in good fun, as we make fun of each other (seasoned veterans) ;)
Lot's of great people here.

Welcome to CAC. I know the feeling about asking the stupid questions, but when it comes down to it, there are no stupid questions because each one poses a chance to learn or look at something in a whole new light.

the only stupid questions are the ones that are not asked..

on that note, my amps not working lately

it might be a wiring problem

the black wire is plus and the red wire is negative right?

haha im jk

yeah, and if you want to strap your amps hook the negative of one to the positive of the other, then ground on one side and run the other amp to the battery, with no fuse.

warning: people who put RTV sealant in their coolant to stop a leak should NOT take this seriously

believe it or not thats the short and sweet explination of how to set up a 24 volt system. if u have acces to construction equipment, go pop the lid on a dozer and look at the batteries, 2 12 volt batteries wired together, power wire runs to the elctrical componants, ground runs to the positive post on the second battery, then the ground on the second battery is your ground wire.
