anyone know if there are student loans out there that you don't have to pay off until after graduation? I'm sure there are - i honestly don't know when to start. The only way i can get out of using loans to pay for college is to spend all of myt savings (bad), not enroll(no), or move out of my dads house.... :argh :argh :argh :argh

You should be able to go through the aid office at school and get loans there. My loans are through Wachovia, and I am not paying on them until after graduation. I haven't done a thorough investigation, but I was under the impression that most student loans do not have to be aid back until after graduation, or if you quit school.

Yeah, that sucks when you barely make to much. Happened to me last year on my taxes. I made 1200 dollars more than the cut off for earned income credit on my taxes. This year, there is no way I will be getting it, I make considerably more.

I am waiting on my w2's also so I can get my Fafsa finished. This is my last year of school, I can't wait to be done.

well my problem is that my dad apparently makes to much.. the only way around that is more than likely moving out, but i can't afford that, and a car :-p

my student loan is through Plato. I would check them out. I am still paying on it though, after being out of school for over 7 years. I would have already paid it off If I didn't get married after graduation.

Financial Aid
Almost ALL educational loans do not gain interest or penalties for non-payment untill 6months after graduation or... 6 months after you withdrawl from school.

Depending on your state you may be able to join a technical school for free under a goverment grant.

i'm not eligable for any grants.. my dad (he still claims me on his taxes) apparently makes too much money (remind me why i'm paying or tuition for the summer terms and for all of the books?)

i do have a scholarship that covers me for tuition and some books for the fall & spring semesters, but it doesn't cover summer and i'm not eligable for our state's lottery-funded tuition help program because i have my scholarship
