just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Dell Financial Services.. i'm considering opening an account get getting a new toy. either a nicee laptop or a server. not sure yet. basically depends on how my credit looks (will be checking in feb after my car payment)..
i really don't want to put an inquiry on my credit if i'm not going to get an account, so does anyone know if they're pretty tough or what? right now my only credit is my CC through capital one and my car loan through my bank.

Inquiries are OK now and then. As long as you're not doing an inquiry every week or something. You can see your own credit report at annualcreditreport.com to see what they would be looking at. It's free yearly.

Pay it off quickly. I am still paying for the laptop I got a couple of years ago. They raped me on the interest rate.

I know most places look for 3 good credit lines for at least one year.
But if you cant get any credit, they how can you have 3 good lines?
