i read they average 150db or so, i read one guy is doing 180 with one of them, although not sure what his setup is.

Actually Bill,
A guy here put a retired tornado siren in his car, hooked up about 30Kw to it and did one run in outlaw spl and hit just under 182db...but it was an unofficial run. Didn't count.
If I remember right, it was David Baldwin...plus it was about 6 years ago...
