This is more aimed at our regular members, but newer faces are always welcomed.
What aspects of the hobby do you feel you lack knowledge in?
Anything in particular?
I think we should make a list up of stuff that we are having a hard time grasping, just dont understand/know about, and have a topic dedicated to each.

Good call. Although it's not specifically car audio, I'm interested in learning more about electronics (how amplifiers work, how to build/modify them). More specifically car audio, I've been dedicating a good amount of effort in reading up on setting up a good soundstage (aiming/placement/imaging/staging/blah).

Impedence rise would definatly be one for me. Exactly what is it? What is it caused from? And, how can it be minimized?

Thats a good one. Lets see, I need to reread johnathan and golemons thread about sub design, and jonathans thread about mids and how they show up on a plot. Then I will let you know what part makes me go HUH???

I was hearing a bit about speaker Q.
Also QTC of a box.
I seem to have a knack for designing stuff that works, but I would like to know what each are and how it interacts with what Im doing...

same here, i have a natural ability to look at something and do what works but other than a raw feel for things speaker specs are somewhat baffling....more specifically how they affect enclosure design and why...

I'm with that one!!
I would like to learn more about frontstage stuff. Basically, everything about it. Maybe one day have enough knowledge to go active with my 4-channel amp if i come up with enough money for a HU that can do that??

Sure you can go active with any head unit that has a front RCA out.

i much prefer active....i dont like sub outs even, i like to have a full range out and then either link a couple 2 way electroinc with 10x multipliers together or a good 3 way....my favorite of all time but they are hard to find anymore is the kenwood kec-101
