Car Audio Central - Ultimate Car Audio Forum and Community

What can you guys tell me about these 2 brands. I know PPI used to make really good amps but I don't know about their new stuff.
I want 1 amp to run a pair of Comp VR 10" @ 2 ohm. Thinking about a PPI D2000 or a PA VX900D.
I also need a 2nd amp to run a set of componets. I was looking at the PPI A1000.2 or the PA VX4002. I want something around 200w rms @ 4ohm.
I'm trying to stay below $650.00 for both amps. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I personally have not dealt with any of the newer PPI stuff, but I've heard some good remarks, as far as the Planet Audio stuff goes... I've never dealt with any of it and have heard mixed emotions.
