looking for a nice set of 5x7's or 6x8's...

i really want to replace my sony speakers (front) with new ones... any good recommendations? or something that will fit in the 5x7 slot with a mount i guess would work too

They do make an adapter plate that will adapt 5x7" to 5-5.25"

how much are you looking to spend and how much power do you have?

I'd say throw a set of Bravox or Elevation Audio coaxials in there and amp them.
