im thinking of a new sub setup for the spring/summer.
was gonna go with 4 10/12REs. ran by a 6/700w amp.

the REs are dual 4 ohm. just wondering how i could possibly get them all wired at a total load of 1ohm.

Coils in series and subs in parallel. You gonna go sealed or ported?

With a setup like that, you may as well just go selaed. You will be plenty loud with how loud it can get.

now i just need to pick an amp.
there is the Directed Audio 750d, 600x1@1ohm($200)
Infinity 610a 650x1@2ohm($210)
or, a Kicker 600.1, 600x2@2ohm.($275)

i'm leaning towards the Infinity amp. anyone have input on it, or knows a decent amp (600-700watts) priced under $300?

I've heard bad things here and there about Infinity amps. Make sure you search for some good reviews and recommendations before buying that Infinity. But then again, Infinity is owned by Harmon Kardon which also owns JBL and Crown.

out of those i'd vote for the kicker.
