Anyone got some good suggestions of some 6x9's for the rear of my Camry that will handle bass really well... Has to be under $250... also, unfortunately i cannot amp these just yet. So they will probably have to run off of around 20-40w rms.. Oh well any thing is better than these things... they just hit and bottom out alot and i dont like it

get a sub take the 6x9's out and use the holes as cabin couplers.

Bill, i appriciate the suggestion, but i have a sub already but the deal is with my Father that i cannot put anything into the car "Audio Related" that has to do with Adding power wires... Trust me if i could i would already have my RE SX 12 and Hifonics 1600W amp in there already... He wont even let me get tints on it...

how about some Tang Band 6x9 subs? Might work out to your benefit....

i would have to power them though... thats my only problem... no doubt that would be perfect but im pretty sure that my 20-40watts (if that) would be sufficient...

i have an alpine 4 channel amp that can be bridged to 100x2.. $50... theres a thread in the forsale section. If i have it, i'll throw in some wiring for it for another $10.. assuming i have enoguh for an 8gauge kit. i sohuld.

edit: sale of that amp is pending.. if toomanyamps sent the money order, than its sold...

i have an 8 gauge kit actually... but yea thats not the problem im tellin u guys my Dad is a major ass about this kinda stuff... He just gets in my truck and, looks at me and says, "You know Jay, you really Bastardized this vehicle... im not going to let you do that to the new car!"

yeah... my dad was like that... he was fine aftter i installed my first system though. specially since i'm 18 now and the title is in my name and i'm paying for the truck, theres not a whole lot he can do about it. and as long as i'm in college, i'm highly doubting that he's going to kick me out over a stereo :>

although, some of the words he used when i bought my JL setup weren't exactly kind.. infact, even i wouldn't repeat them.

Im 20 and my dad still controls me... he kicked my ass outta the house once for getting a speeding ticket... And another time cause i didnt turn my system down when i pulled into my house driveway... But its not that he is an asshole he just "HATES" bass... I dont know what to do really.. but we are both paying for this car so i cant just be like well im going to put it in anyway

haha my dad is the same way bro and im 20 also! u should have heard what i get called and hell im nationally recognized now. but that dont mean anything to him.
