I was driving up the onramp to the interstate, and it curves around some fences/houses and you can't see the end of the onramp. Well, I saw my place on the interstate to merge on (rush hour/heavy traffic at night), and as I looked at it, I didn't see the people stopped at the end of the ramp (keep in mind there are no hills or actual ramps) I must have been going about 45-50, slammed on the brakes with about 100 feet or so till the truck. I think I hit him at 30-40 (my tires all locked up).
At least I got all the stereo out today. That took about 2.5 hours.

What's the deal on totalling something? The woman at the place where it was towed to (the tow-er) said they total it if it sets the airbag off. Can anyone confirm that?
