i bought these speakers for the rears

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp ... 0392384508
(they gave me a good deal cuz the ones i wanted werent in stock)

anyways they are 100rms and 300max

what would be a good 2channel amp that would be able to max out the speakers, and not have extra, unneeded wattage.

Yeah, max ratings are pointless, ignore them. You want to match the amps RMS rating to the speakers RMS rating at that paticular ohm load.

Now the question is what do you want to spend... so you can get a decent to good amp to fit your budget.
