hi all
i have kenwood amplifier kac-8452 and two subwoofer pioneer ts-w306c (each one 400w rms total of two subwoofer 800w rms dual voice coil)
what is the right configuration for them on the amplifier?
i asked the retailer but they didn't know ,and i confused about information in the manual for kenwood amp:
Rated Output Power (14.4V )
70W x 4 at 20-20kHz 0.08%THD (4Ħ)
200W x 2 at Bridged 1kHz 0.8%THD (4Ħ)
100W x 4 at 1kHZ 0.8%THD (2Ħ)
so how can i connect two subwoofer of total 800rms ?
note:
in each subwoofer two coils each coil 200rms 4ohm
and if i can so please tell me how and what's the total power delivered by amplifier to the subwoofer

You can't get 800w rms out of that amp... it's only rated at 400w rms and 800w max... always ignore the max rating of amps and subs both... the best you'll get is wiring them parallel and giving them 200wrms x 2.

thnx for your fast reply
that's Power Features for kenwood :
Maximum Output Power
800W
Rated Output Power (14.4V )
70W x 4 at 20-20kHz 0.08%THD (4Ħ)
200W x 2 at Bridged 1kHz 0.8%THD (4Ħ)
100W x 4 at 1kHZ 0.8%THD (2Ħ)
each sub have dvc so i'll wire 2 coils from one sub @ 2ohm that produce 200x2
& the second sub same @ 2 ohm
total power 800 w rms
is that right?
& is that amp can handling this load @ 2 ohom?? without any problem?

I'm trying to tell you... It won't do 800w rms only 800w max
If you wire it the way you say.. you still wont get any more than 100wrms to each coil @ 2ohm
But yeah that amp is 2 ohm stable
:o sorry

Sorry if i've sounded rude... it's not that the subs won't do it, just that the amp is limited to the power that it can put out, so if you want an amp that does 800watts rms, then buy an amp that does 800watts rms and start ignoring the max ratings, because they really mean nothing more than impressive numbers :)

There are plenty of amps out there capable of the 800w rms figures (check out the FAQ section thread "good, bad, and the ugly" thread.
And while your there start reading through the entire FAQ section, it's a great resource for those just starting out... Max wattage and rms are both described there too

The Max rating is more like WLS...or When Lightning Strikes! The only way you can get 800w out of that amp, is when lightning strikes. That way, you get 1.21Gigawatts which is more than 800 but that is wired to each voice coil. Sorry, saw Back to the Future last night.
Either way, welcome to the forum and what is your budget for this 800w amp? BTW, is 800 exactly what you need or would 1000 do or 500 do?
Either way, I wouldn't wire a 4 channel amp to two subs that are dual vc, the gain settings would be hideous.
