i donno.. he coudl of entered some sort of contract by joining the lan party (ie, like at repair shops and such... basically.. "if you're XX isn't picked up for over 30 days, it becomes property of XY company") same thing, imo.

good god... I am pretty sure I know what a LAN party is (just a multiplayer game on a LAN, right?)...

yeah thats it...as far as cheating... in the case of counter strike, you'd have a program running ont he computer that does things to give you an advantage over other players... ie, it'll automatically aim for you (basically, 100% headshots), wall hacks (makes it so that you can see through the walls), and a bunch of other crap is generall thrown in.. yeah, thats pretty much it. people get pissed off when others come in hand "hack"/cheat on games.
