How can they even try to charge $420 for a FACEPLATE when you can buy the whole unit for $290...
lmao...
I would just buy another unit...
Are you sure there is no other damage, does it still work except the face?
Also, since its damaged, wont your insurance pay for it?

Pionneer themselves charges $355.00 just for the faceplate(yeah I looked it up), so you're definately better off getting a whole new unit.

You don't have uninsured/underinsured on your liabilty policy? If not I would highly suggest it for the future. It doesn't cost a lot more (just a few bucks a month) and if you get hit then the insurance company handles it if they don't have insurance and then they go after the a-holes :)
Actually it's a good tip for all that only have liabilty insurance :)
