Getting a new router since the one I was using blew up. Please recommend some decent stuff for ~$200.

Power tools, sorry about not being clear :)
I don't need anything crazy. I was looking at two of them on the Lowes website so far. Porter Cable and Milwaukee.

Yea I heard Milwaukee makes great stuff, that's one reason I was looking at that. From what I understand, PC is a really great router brand as well.
What's the difference between a plunge router and a fixed base?

I have a Milwaukee circular saw and can say it is the best of the 3 I've owned/used in the past few years.
