This is to everyone using windows, afaik. I don't have much information on this but i thought i'd pass it along. anyway.

I got home from work tonight and checked my email... i had about 55 emails. Someone got into my ebay account and listed a bunch of shit, fortunently only 1 of the items was bought.. so i onl have one person to handle. But i changed my password and such, and i will be changing all my passwords on my laptop running linux.

I belive there may be some new sort of virus or spyware or somethign going around, my sister said she heard about it. Just a warining, i may be wrong though. I'm changing all my important passwords (paypal, bank, etc) and advising my father to do so.i hope that none of our other accoutns were stolen.

:( bunch of shits.

Damn, that blows. What type of stuff did they list for sale? Thats odd that they would list stuff for sale, I would certainly be all over paypal, and my banks changing passwords and accounts. They may be looking to collect. That sucks, sorry to hear about it.

If its through your bank account have them freeze it tomorrow morning.

Explain to them that somehow you were hacked and your information has been compromised and other things have happened, like the E Bay auctions.

Good to hear, that kind of stuff can cause some serious problems. I'd keep an eye on my bank account and whatnot just to make sure they didn't get any bank account #s or routing #s. That can be baaaaad news.
