Ok for a friends install on his 05 Mustang i am putting a new Type R dual 4ohm in a 3 cuft box (Scarrells design) and am thinking about powering it with 1 of these 4 amps... which one would you go with... I am torn between them...

JBL GTO 600
Alpine Mrp-M650
Phoenix Gold Xenon 600.1
Kicker KX600.1

Personally i like the Kicker and the Alpine the most of the 4

honestly i would go with more power the type rs like power but of the four i would say the jbl gto. but my personal choice would be an MM1000.1 Bxi1606d or crunch 1600.1. we tested the crunch down to .18 ohms the dcr was around .9 but the bitch didnt even get hot and for the price you cannot beat it!

Im thinking he might go with the jbl but he is also thinking about getting an Alpine HU too so he might want to go all alpine... ehh well we shall figure it out sooner or later...

if he has an alpine head unit, go with the alpine amp and use the bass engine controller etc.. works well as a system together.
