There is no solid blue wire coming out of the HU harness for a power antenae? WTF?
I have no radio because I have no way of wiring the power antenae to the unit, unless I wire it to one of the power cables and make a seperate switch which just seems straight up asinine to me. Anyone have any suggestions?

What HU do you have? Did someone own the HU before you?

Pioneer Premier DEH-980BT and no, this is a brand new unit. I called my friend who is an installer and he's seen many a Pioneer HU with this problem, I guess you could call it?

I'm guessing the HU has one of those stickers on the bottom with all the wire colors and what they are for. Does yours have the power antenna wire listed? I'm guessing the wire just got pulled out.

Couple of reasons:
1. Im anal.
2. It looks ghey.
3. I'd like it to perform the way it's supposed to.
