Post by CaptainPioneer »

Apparently a agent in my dad's office has a 98 Honda Crv and a CD Got stuck... THey want to know if there is a Pin release button that will fire the cd out even though it is stuck... I dont think there is... If it is indeed really stuck in there and cant be taken out by the cd motor... Best bet is to prolly take the HU out and take off the metal case to get to the internals to push it out right?

What you can do is take another CD and stick it in and try to push it down. Then use it as leverage to push the other cd up and pull it out.

Sometimes you can try 2 CDs, one on top, one of bottom to get a better grip. My friend's cd ejecter stopped working so he had to eject his cds manually. lol

Just made a call to a buddy at Honda and no there's no pin release hidden anywhere. Disassembly is the only option :(
