Good God please cool this place off!

My apartment is cinder block exterior. Its two story and surrounded by asphalt.

My AC is 12000 BTU and is 7 summers old now. I think its dead. Over the past two weeks it just isnt to cold.

Right now its 86 in the room with the AC...

So tomorrow Im off to buy a big beast AC. 25000 BTU

Im not screwing around any longer, Im buying the big boy. Trouble is its $400 and there goes my car audio money

yeah man, screw that... Its been in the 100's here lately and I would die without having central air, I dont mind going out in the heat all that much, but I sure do mind coming in to it (thats why the thermostat is set to 68 and we have fans running) :happy055:

Buy it, then you have a cool place to sit and do nothing so you can save more money!!

Get a solar powered AC :) you will save money in the long run..haha

220 air5 requires less power than a 115 Volt... By half or so usually

So while the BIG AC costs a lot more, you will save it on your electric bill in the first year

I have studied that about solar power. Although it is expensive to purchase and install, it rapidly pays for itself.
