Looks like i may be getting a promotion at work. I'm currently just a regular crew member at my local Micky D's, but i may be bumped up to maintenance. which means a $2-$3 raise, and no annoying tie to wear.. less hours but the pay makes up for it.

yup. looks like i'm locked in on it. time to look for a weekend job now... micky d's 5-6 days a week, school monday-thurs, and then hopefully a part time job friday , saturday, and sunday nights.

so yeah i got it. raise wasn't as much as i hoped but i'll get more once i'm certified.

Retail/food industries suck for pay, unless you are a CEO or something.

yea they do.. but its good enough for me for the time being. i still plan on getting a second job too.

If you can get some full time job like construction work or something, you'd probably make more and do less hours than two part time jobs. If that interests you that is...

doesn't interest me and i''ll be i college so hours will be tough... i've already got experience at my job so my boss is willing to work with me on the schedule which is nice while i'm school.

won't you not have any nights to go out or anything?

other way around. now i have night to go out. i'm now working 6 am to noonish... before i got the promotion i'd be doing night shift... anywhere from 2 to midnight.

kinda sucks... i've never really gone out much because i've been working. time to find something to do.
