Opinion Old style Rockford Fosgate power 500a2

I just picked up an older style power 500a2. haven't used any rockford stuff since the old punh 45/75 days.. So what do you guys think about this amp?

I don't like them as much as I did the old Punch series from back in the day, but the a500 is a solid aplifier and it'll deliver.. I'm just a fan of teh old early 90s stuff.

my cuz has that amp... works fine for him so i wouldnt think that it will dissapoint to much

yeah. i figured it'd get the job done. I'm only using it to power to passive el series 10" bazooka tubes behind the seats in my mr2. It should have plenty of bottom end inn that little car,especially with the bazooka tubes being so efficient. That along with a panasonic 8400 deck and jbl components. should sound prettty decent..

Same amp I have in the Camaro, it's an OK amp. It's been reliable, but I agree with Glass, the old early 90's stuff was better.

keep in mind I'm very picky.. so by saying it gets the job done, it's really not a bad amp.
I wouldn't toss it out if one were given to me.
