Amp Suggestion

My friend's amp died recently. So we're searching for a new amp for him.
Previously, he had a Phoenix Gold Octane-R 8:0:1 - He has a JL W6. He's looking for around 500-600 watts to push it. He has his sub wired to 2 ohm.
So he needs around 600 watts RMS at 2 Ohm. He wants something reliable and good, but most importantly cheap. He has a budget, he's hoping to get one around $200, but he's most likely willing to pay more.
Anyone know of a good amp for that price?

Kicker KX600.1 should find one on ebay for that or a wee bit less.

I've suggested this one to him, but I don't know why but he doesn't want a Kicker. I've tired talking him into it. Trust me. Haha.

if he wants to step it up a little bit i would get the jl 500/1. i had it hooked up to 2 w3v2s and that shit pounded. but then again its a little more expensive.

i have a kx600.1 for sale if you can ever talk him into kicker. its a great amp. i just replaced it with kicker's new zx1000.1 for my re sx12. i can do 200 shipped for him if he wants.

Thats pretty good, that is how much I got mine for. Look also into a JBLbp600.1 those are bang for the buck right there. I would say any JL amp is outta the Q.

i could do 150 for that kicker. any takers? birth sheet rated at 710w rms at 2 ohm.

Hum.. I'll talk to him about it, but I'm not sure if hes into used stuff. Hows it look cosmetically?
