Just like the title says, any one who knows typically how much power they draw would be great... I belive the car that i am working with has a 80 amp alt (Toyota MR2 -Spyder) Also i will be putting a 400w amp in it.

I appologise if i put this in the wrong Forum, its just that i know that i will get more views if i put it here than if i put it in the Car modification section... Hope u guys understand

Nope. More efficient, Whiter light, 3X brighter, and they last typically 5X longer than a halogen bulb. No filament to burn out.
Drawback is a higher price, and the need for a bit of space under the hood for the transformer module.

the new Mark has HID's standard, so I was worried about draw on the alternator.

I was thinking about getting Pilot's HID kit its not super Expensive either... Its only $189 for a single beam and i can get it in 12000k version which is a beautiful blue purple

12000k your going to lose a lot of light with that.
that is almost purple.

I wouldn't go above 4.5-5k for improved light output over Halogen. That is where most OEM HIDs are at.

Yea but i really like those Blue colors... maybe a 9000k is good?

just a caution, the blue headlight colors have been banned from Oklahoma. You WILL get a ticket for these headlights.

I have been ticketed for my STOCK HID's, but then again, I got out of that ticket by showing them the build sheet...
