When I was at the BX on base, I saw a noebook I liked and decided to get it. It's a good one if anyone is shopping for a notebook. I'd recommend one of these if it's in your budget and fits your needs.

I got an IBM (Lenovo) thinkpad z60m
titanium case
biometric fingerprint reader
touchpad
navpoint j-mouse
15.4" widescreen WXSVGA
2.00GHz Pentium-M
1GB DDR2 SDRAM
100GB HDD, 5400RPM
ATi radeon mobility 128MB x600 PCIe
802.11a/b/g
bluetooth
broadcom gigabit LAN
56K modem
3 USB 2.0
1 ieee1394
SVGA output
DVD-RAM
PCMCIA/PC card slot
3 in 1 memory card reader
svid output
soundmax HD audio
windows XP pro SP2
6 hour, 9-cell Lithium-Ion battery
6.8lbs

all in all a pretty decent notebook.
pivked up some noise-cancelling headphones with it as well.

From your title, I thought you broke into a Tacoma...

Thats a nice laptop!! I personally am loyal to amd, they are more reasonably priced for comparable speed, but nothing against intel. I am also in the market for a new notebook. Just haven't found the right one yet, plus I was dead broke for about the last month, just recovering from that

BX huh, dang AF brats.

Actaully I got my last laptop from the BX here. Price wan't to bad, and the tax free thing never hurts.

i got a HP dv5135 or somethign... amd turion (sp?) 64bit ml-34, 100gb hard drive, combo drive w/ lightscribe, wireless, 128mb dedicated video ram.
