Refurbished

Are the refurbushed cd players out on ebay any good or do they work for a few weeks and quit? I'm looking cause my nephew needs a cd player for xmas and i'm not up for spending 200 or over and dont wanna get a crap Dual or something that i know isnt gunna last.

Generally, if you buy something refurbished from a reputable ebayer..you will be very happy with it. Make sure whoever you buy it from has a good feedback rating and its also a plus when a phone number is left on the bottom of the page for you. Many ebayers sell refurbished items from there shops, so they will have store hours in which you could contact them.

Refurbished = brought back to working factory standards. Something was wrong with it, but fixed. Nothing wrong with buying refurbs.

try looking at highdesertaudio on ebay. Rockfords ebay site, really good deals.

quite often units are returned due to user incompetence when nothing is actually wrong with the unit.
Once it's returned though it can't legally be resold as new, so it goes out as a refurb.
ya never know.

yes, which is why im buying a pioneer deh-p8600 for my new deck, and im gonna solder and heat shrink the wires and fuse my remote lead
