I'm no longer in Iraq!

I got a very short notice to leave Monday night. Like 10 minutes to be on the bus. It sucked. We were stuck in a tent most of the night, flew out very early to Kuwait and got stuck there in a tent until that evening and finally made it to Qatar. Waited in a terminal all night there and left about 4 hours late. I just landed in Germany a few minutes ago. I should be at BWI around 4 or 5 tonight. Since there were so many people and so much baggage (why people didn't mail their stuff home I don't know), anyhow, the had to leave a bunch of baggage in Qatar. I'm sure mine will be among that luggage since I was one of the last people to check in last night. So ... my weapon and chemical gear are still at the terminal back there. lol. My base is going to love that. Anyway, I'm here for an hour or so while they refuel the plan and what ever. I'm tired as hell and starting to stink. There's only so much baby wipes can take care of before you need a real shower. Especially when you're travels include dragging baggage across the middle east in 110 degree temperatures. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll sit down and get caught up on the forum after I get home. I'm not going to try to do it here in the airport. Thanks to everyone for keeping me company while I was in Iraq. I doubt I'll be able to spend as much time on there as I used to. But I'll try.
