Anyone got some theft stories either from first hand or second hand experience? And maybe stories about how your alarm saved you.

My 4runner has no alarm, parked it outside my house for the night. Left my ipod in the glovebox just for that night because I was in a rush to get inside my house. That night a thief breaks in, takes my ipod, head unit faceplate, breaks my window sail panel.

Been paranoid ever since, getting a two way alarm installed within 2 weeks, thank god. However I dont fee lsafe even parking in my own driveway for the night. I now garage park

Sorry for the misconception, he broke the window that looks like a sail panel to get in the car. Luckily its not motorized and cost like $120. But $300 ipod, and $100 faceplate.. Not fun.

sry about you issue. If you have money there are car alarms that have a remote that will go off any time your alarm does, also I have a clifford and it is loud as hell so when I activate it ppl hear it hop this helps
