Couple weeks ago I posted some shit about racing a Grand Am GT. Here's the story on why I suck!!

Went out cruisen for shits and giggles tonight in my '02 Spec V. Pull up beside a Grand Am GT... I beat the last I raced BAD before so I figured wth! Lets give another one a go.... Well... I lost.... and I am so ashamed... It was POOR driving on my part. We launched and we were pretty well even, and then I short shifted into second and he started to pull away alittle bit... Then when I went into 3rd I completely messed it up.... ground my gears and looked like a total nob... He only had a half cars length on me though when I was able to get it into third, I was gaining on him in 4th, but then we ran into some traffic. As I pull past him I give him a smile and a "I'm a retard" shrug.... He just grins back, prob gonna go tell all his buddies how he rocked a spec v... BAH!

I don't deserve my drivers license!

Haha sorry i couldnt resist. if you really wanna race ppl, get a programmable shift light so you dont have to keep looking at your tach.

It happens bro, you can't nail it perfect everytime. Hell, John Force red lights every now and then, but I guess that is different..

street racing is stupid. do it on the track no where else. or face the consiquences when you kill yourself or someone else. y do you need to risk other innocent lives?

lol dude it a was a race off the lights on a straight ass road, we both slowed down when we started to hit ANY traffic and I think we were going 90 km/h in an 80km/h zone. Maybe you should lighten up alil and keep your lil personal crusades to yourself?

dude...you were in 4th gear doin 90 kph (54ish mph)???

My BMW does that in second...with room to go!!! Ive had it to 70 in second! I think you were shortshiftin like a MOFO!

I dunno dude, I was in 4th checked my speedo when I started slowing down and it was 90km/h. going 120km/h (75mph) at 6th gear puts me about 2500 RPM rev limiter kicks in around 6500. maybe I was in 3rd and shifted up to 4th before I started slowing down I can;t really remember all I know is I wasn't going above 90 when we stopped racing which was my whole point

i get that dude but its still dangerous. i had a friend die in a street racing accident so i know what its like. he also killed the 2 people in the other car. now you tell me y its a good idea?

Well apologize for getting snappy. Sorry for your loss. But trust me, I was in no way doing anything overly stupid. I'm not in a position where I can afford to have my insurance any higher than it already is... My age bracket has ridiculous insurance without having speeding tickets and stunting demerits on my license also.

my car does 98mph in 2nd gear...Tall M'fuggin gears


oh and the minute he loses his license for street racing...things will change.

cause in street racing, it isn't if he gets pulled over, it is when...
