Currently i am running two Kicker CVR's. They get pretty loud for me but i kinda want something that i can listen to rock music with that sounds good. I have heard that the RE subs have great SQ and do get loud but what are each subs characteristics.... which ones are more SQ and which ones are more SPL??

IMO not enough of an improvement to justify the cost. The SEs would definately be a step up SQ wise.

if you want something that will sound alot better get the SEs if you want something that will sound better and get loud get the SXs or Old XXX or new.

Price list, they range from $165-215 unless prices have changed.

The SE's are MUCH better SQ wise..the SX..not so much in the SQ department..but definitely SPL. I actually like the CVR's, especiallly for the price.

I'd go with dual SE's in a 2.6 cubic foot sealed enclosure, or 4 cubic foot low tuned (30-32hz) ported enclosure.

Thats what i was thinking about doing, 2 SE's and i would probably put them in a sealed enclosure.
