I have a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 with
4 Audiobahn 12" subs with 2 2400 watt amps,
and now want to upgrade the crappy back speakers and the blown front speakers and am also thinking about getting those kicker panels. But thats where I need some help cause as far as these speakers go I dont know whats good. I listen to Psycopathic artists, old school rap and some rock. I need something that sounds good but is able to get loud.Also should I get a capacitor for the subs I have had friends go both ways with it. Thanks alot.

also, "kicker" panels aren't speakers, they are speaker enclosures. You need to look into some 5.25" components to set in there. BTW, they are called kick panels. I think the confusion came for your usage of the word kicker. And like Bill said, check the good, the bad and the ugly thread.

no offence but putting a nice component set in with 4 audiobahns sounds kinda like blasphemy! or a major sacrelage (sp?)

Which model of audioban subs, and what make/model amps are these? what type of box are you using for the subs?

a capacitor won't help. you'll need a larger alternator, which is explained in the FAQs and Guides section of this site (top section of the forums) read the threads on capacitors, and alternators/charging systems.

the Qform kickpods are good for positioning. For speakers, I'd look at CDT or Alpine based on the price range of gear you're using now, since I'm guessing you don't want to blow $350+ on each set of speakers.
Also I'd strongly suggest you consider a 4 channel amp for front/rear speakers. part of the reason your stock ones blew is from clipping and distortion caused by a lack of adequate power to keep up with those subs. This would give a more rounded system with mids/highs able to keep up with four subs.

PS headunits only put out about 15 watts per channel.
not enough for anything more than factory radio replacement power.

ARC Audio makes some of the best speakers available, and I know this will fit because they just came out of my ZX3 :)
