well i look on the forums and look at all these nice Clean installs and all the pics with it.. well i have a jeep grand cherokee nothin special bout it really.. i have a Jvc HU Kicker Kx150.2 Amp Rf He2 Punch 10" sub (as of right now will have different setup within the next week) 6.5 audiobahn speakers front stage and 6.5 accoustik speakers in the rear

i want to do something to really make it look clean it just plan right now i really like doing projects building Etc.. any ideas? :

The sub box is just sittin in the back against the seats.. the amp is under my back seats with all the wires all under there too i ran the wires from my HU to my back seat cuz i had a factory amp there in the first place.

my Interior paint on my doors inside are chippin off i kinda wanting to paint them over but i hard its hard and have to have the right materials..

any ideas guys ill take pics of the car and insides all

I can't really help you cuz I don't know much, but the knowledgeable guys will wanna know if your wanting to buy new equipment, and if you are what your price range is.

I could be confused by your post, but I get the impression that you just want it cleaner looking without any new gear?

Its not a Jeep but its an idea. I did this Explorer about 3 years ago. It was really simple and the customer really loved it

you could fiberglass some pods for the front kicks or doors, get better front components to replace what you have.
you could also fiberglass an enclosure for the subs to fit the spaces around the rear wheel wells.
make it fit snug and take less space.

Try this:
Don't think of it as a bunch of separate components.. "box", "amp", "wiring"...

Look at your car dashboard. It looks like one integral part of your car, right? It doesn't look like "speedometer", "radio", "climate control", "cupholder".
I mean, obviously all those components are there - but it all blends together, integrated smoothly with your car, right?

Take a look at the shapes the designers used with your car.

Maybe your door panel has a wood trim accent panel or something - or maybe the armrest or a door pad or your doorhandle has a distinct shape to it.

Maybe your interior was designed with a bunch of circles as design elements (like an Audi TT or VW Beetle), or maybe squares (square door handles, square buttons, square gauge cluster, etc)?

Maybe your interior was designed with a particular look and feel.

But look at that dashboard again - all the components work together, the dashboard is the "install" that integrates all those components smoothly into one integral part of the car that just looks and feels right.

Now go look at your trunk again.

You may even want to go remove your carpeted panels, and see what additional spaces you have available behind there... even if you don't want to get rid of those "components". ]new[/i] spare tire well in the top of my enclosure, so I could get to it easy if need be. And it gave me a round cover to laminate with a marble formica (as well as trim panels around my subs, and behind my amps, to integrate that new element into the install) to make an upscale sort of appearance and a contrast against the grey vinyl used everywhere else (to match my factory interior door panels and dash).

You can, and in my opinion should, use your car's preexisting styling elements in your install design, to make the install flow better and have the end product be even more OEM in appearance - ironically the real sign of a true "custom install".
