i'm just about to order my amp for Diamond Audio D312D4 (one sub) and i stumble upon a diffrent amp...
first amp:

possible amp?:

now the only thing that i noticed was that the second amp said Ohm Load Stability: 2 Ohm and i was going to wire it at 4 ohm... would this be a problem? and is the other amp stable at 4 ohms? which amp would be best?
Note: would this be the right box

Out of those 2 amps i would take the diamond.
Since im too lazy to look up the specs on your sub, what is the voice coil configuration and how much does it handle rms? Maybe we can find an amp better suited to that sub...

here it is... it has duel voice coil and 400 rms 4 ohms (what i will be wiring it at i believe)

Note: i thought that someone recomended the directed audio amp but i could be mistaken.
Edit:
Note: it says i need a 30hz subsonic filter for that box.... what the hell is that?

Oh ok.
Since it is a dual 4 ohm woofer, you will want to look for an amp that is stable to 2 ohms or 8 ohms, mono. Both of the amps you linked too will be too powerful for that sub.
edit: i would recommend this amp

Im not a big fan of kicker subs, but i do like their amps alot.

would it make a difference if i changed the sub to 2 ohms? i dont think that would really make any difference at all but here it is.

tedd im sure that diamond would be fine for that sub... if its 400 rms dual 4 ohm vc and that sub is rated at 200X2@2 ohms it would actually be not enough power.

if you changed it to 2 ohms you would need an amp that is stable to one ohm and produced 400 watts.

yeah i think i will stick with the orignal plan, 4 ohms..... i think i will go with the diamond amp just to stick with everything the same brand....
one other thing is that the box that i may get says you need a 30hz subsonic filter ( i read about that and it said that sometimes they are attached to amps and i dont see it on the diamond) what should i do here?
