Here is a computer company's site. They manufacture computers here in the States, and they are unionized as well. They make desktops, laptops, as well as servers and union made websites. Not all the parts are domestic, but nothing's perfect. They also have links to other company's sites who manufacture union made products.

I am sure that this "Union-built" pc is a glorious project, but if they are planning on us believing that their stuff is built in the USA, why oh why do they have a TOSHIBA projector on their site?
lookie here:

WHY BUY FROM COMPANIES WHO USE OFF-SHORE, NON-UNION LABOR?
because their systems come with guarentees, warrentys, customer support, etc. They also comeo with moniters, keyboards, and mice. that right there is enough of a reason to spend the extra $60. (

so where do all the parts that are inside these computers come from?
I know when I worked for NEC, we built the laptops in Washington, but every part inside came from Japan. They could get away from import tarifs if they actually put them together here.

When will people pull their heads from the arses and realize?
There truly is no more "Made in the USA" products. Its not that we dont have the know how to do stuff here, its just plain and simple fact that the labor costs are outrageous.
From Harley's, Cars, Computers to Linens... Yes it may be assembled here, but the parts/pieces or machines used to make/asseble came from somewhere else...
This is the way of the future.
Every day we are losing people, EVERY DAY. Every day the Chinese/Asian markets grow stronger, bigger and smarter... Its even happening right in front of us. Look how many people are building over there. Or how all the parts are from there... Circuit boards, chips, processors...
I could go on and on.
Simple fact is: We are losing and will lose. Its only a matter of time. Wether we like to admit it or not there is a 3 way struggle going on in the world. America vs. Mexico vs. China/Korea.
Due to NAFTA and low import tariff's we will continue to lose.
Get ready for it people, this will happen in our lifetime. I also predict China will invade our homeland continent.

I crack up everytime a Harley rider says that Harley Davidson's Evo is ALL american...hell there is more German inginuity in the EVO than American. I am not pro-german or anti-american. I just prefer German cars to american. If you were to tell the average Harley boy that the EVO and the V-Rod are Porsche engines, it would be like shooting the Duke Boys and pissing on the confederate flag.

SWEEEET!! Another German Car fan :excited: Yea, the V-Rod engine was not produced by harley as you stated. THat is one badass Harley, but i still didnt like it. I had to deliver it back to a customer and the exhaust note was unlike anything i'd ever heard. It was so obnoxious it gave me an instant headache.

Hmm, Why buy from companies who use unionized labor here in the States?
To borrow a slogan from the political campaign in the 90's: "Its the economy stupid!" Put your own country first. Oh yeah and customer support? Its all people who barely know our language. That isn't even a good arguement.
