Finally got a job I like

I deliver tires to places around PA, i get 6 bucks an hour then 7 if im here for over a year. I enjoy the driving and stuff a lot its just gonna be a pain in the rain and snow with RWD trucks. ESP with tires stacked 9 feet in the air.

7 dollars an hour? Is that good where you are? I'm not close to happy making $15 here in San Diego. But thats cool you like your job, wish i could say the same.

what do you do audio? minimum wage here is 5.25. i make about 15 as well, but thats waiting tables and bartending at olive garden. 6 or 7 is average around here for most jobs, other than waiting tables.

minimum wage is national.
I hope you're driving a company vehicle for that wage, and not your own truck.

12 years in the military and I'm up to about $25/hr. in DC. That also figures in food, clothing, and living allowances for the DC area. But, this is DC. I have a cheap two bedroom apatment at $1300/mo. in a so-so neighborhood.

damn! for that kind of money it has to be for love.... not to bust your chops dude but they pay Mcdonalds kids more than that here. i knew a guy that was pushing carts at home depot for 11

Ive seen McDonals upto $8.50/hr here in NW ohio.
Factories are the largest things going in NW ohio. Most factories pay $10-14/hr...
Living isnt to bad here either. Most apartments are $400-600 for a 2 bedroom 1,200Sq Ft...
I pay $260 a month including heat and water for my aparment in a small ass town. Granted its not the nicest in appearance but everything functions and the price is right. It allows me to free up my money for other things- like a HOUSE...

i pay 295 for my small 1 bedroom with everything execpt the elect. houses and apartments are kinda high around here because people are stupid not too many have very much money and everyone around here wants to be like the people with the money so they got new cars and everything else but are broke as hell and will be for the next 50 years. i made 11.97 working road construction it wasnt to bad had to shovel alot but that was my job.

minimum wage is not national, its different in every state. federalism...
WA is the highest too, I believe ours right now is $7.35 and about to go up to $7.75 or so.

I'm with Glass, I'm pretty sure minimum wage is nationl.... $5.25 I believe. Your state doesn't raise the minimum wage, the us gov. does.
