The Dayton also comes in a High Output option HO, for small sealed applications.
I have been patiently waiting on the Daytons & hope to have a pair to replace my Infinity VQ's in my Saturn...

would you guys take a dayton 10hf over a arc audio kar10? Both are the same price, 119$.

Ask this question over @ DIYmobileadio... there are some guys with experience on the arc subs... which if I am not mistaken are made by ID...
Personally, yes I would take the Dayton over the ARC or ID offerings until I see similar tests done on them...

I now have a pair of the Dayton HF 12" on the way to replace the Infinity VQ. Check back & I'll let you know how they turn out...
They will be pushed by the bridged 5/6 channels of 2 JL e6450's.

What type and size box are you going to put those HF's in? From the other threads on them people say they work best in a "large" sealed box. But I have yet to see any exact cubic feet recommendations.

I am going to use them Free Air... no box...
Parts Express has a good tech support, you can ask them for a recommended box size if you like...
They also have the Reference HO (High Output) if you want a small box with high power handling.
