600 watt DVC 2ohm sub

I need a DVC 12 inch 2ohm sub that will handle 600 wats rms I want spl more than sq. I was also thinking of 4 of the new SVC 4ohm jl w1's wired for 600 watts @ 4 ohms what do you guys think. I would spend 250 bucks on a 2ohm sub.

You looking for one sub, or 4?? For $215, you could get a REaudio SE15. I dunno if they are dual 4 or 2. OR four re12's would spank them w1's no doubt. And would run perfect off 600 watts. And you will have a 2 ohm load since they are dual 4's.

Yeah them REs series got some nice xmax for a low powered sub...
Four of them can probably pulla good number

i would like to run 1 real good dvc 2 ohm sub to save space where can you buy the re's for 215?

the amp is only stable at 4 ohms you can run it a 2 but it tends to get hot and really drains the stock electrical system

you could probalby run it at 1 ohm...just not for long. the reason it gets hot is because you have lowered the resistance and it is trying to make more power which has the effect of shortening the life of the amp....now that being said i have done the same thing in the past and it usually winds up with a repair bill

I dont want to go below 4 ohms, I dont want a repair bill........ It wont run at 1 ohm maybe for a few seconds but it will shut itself off.
