the one on the right is the one above. the other one is a 12 pin harness(6x2) that went to a tiny amplifier(EA1412) read and supposedly that tiny thing is a 4ch amp that produces 50x4 RMS??

it looks like you have a wiring harness adaptor for whatever car it was installed in that has been crimped on.

ok well the guy said yes, that he left the wire harness from his car on it(99 camaro). so how would i go about fitting this to my car?(93 camry) would i have to cut off the wiring at the harness? and then solder the connections to the stock ones?

how much ya wanna pay? :bigwink:

i dont suppose BB or CC would carry wiring harnesses for eclipse products, eh? i would probably have to find the nearest eclipse dealer and get one from them?

how would i essentially hook it to the wiriing harness though? cut the wires at the old wiring harness and then what?

you dont need an eclipse wiring harness....the eclipse harness is coming out of the unit and then there is an adaptor that is crimped onto the eclipse harness to let the unit plug directly into your factory wiring. you can get these anywhere they sell stereos, best buy, circuit city, walmart, your friendly neighborhood car audio shop.....what you need to do is cut the two apart at the crimps and crimp on or solder on the one for your car....

this is the wiring coming out of the brain. it is crosslisted with the sticker on the unit. its a little weird because:

orange/white(illumination) and red(+B to acc)were wiring as one to create one red wire.

black(ground) and red/white(parking) is wired together but then there is an extra black wire a few inches long that loops. u might be able to spot it in the pictures. and then they are all wired together into one white wire(no listing for a white wire)

solid blue(antenna) turns into orange.

blue/white(amp control B+) turns into a solid blue wire.

at the end i have red, blue, yellow, black, double black and a blue/white just hanging there.

well the illumination and acc were wire together so that when your key is on the unit lights up. the parking brake and ground are wired together presumably so the unit will play while the car is driving. some have a safety featur that when wired correctly wont let the unit play while the car is driven. the easiest thing is just go get that wiring harness kit and it will tell you what wire in the kit will connect to what wire on the unit......batt, acc, etc........
