Help with my new Alpine CD Player

A few weeks ago someone in Flint stole my cd player. I finally saved up enough money and bought an Alpine CDA-9847. I got it all hooked up and everything, but I have a problem. For some reason the bass really hits on the radio, but when I have a cd playing the bass barely hits. I adjusted the the sound controls of the bass engine to exactly what the radio is at and it is still terrible. I also tried adjusting Alpine's BBE processing as well and I have still had no luck. Is there like some off the wall function on Alpine CD players or something? Can anyone help me out?

how loud are you playing it? do u have stock speakers?

woops I meant to mention that it's my subwoofers which aren't producing the bass, not factory speakers

you wired the amplifier's remote trigger to the power antenna wire instead of the REMOTE wire on the alpine.
the subs are only getting power with the radio.
common newbie mistake. easy fix.

Thanks Kiki it worked. I knew you would have an answer for me. It was bothering me last night so I went and checked at like 1:30 this morning. Sorry for a late reply I just got back from the U.P. last night
