I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the factory radio controls to work with an aftermarket deck. The car is a 95 buick riviera and it will be getting a Panasonic deck and the customer really want the factory controls on the steering wheel to work with the aftermarket deck, but im not aware of a process that can be done to make this work so if anyone knows how to that would be awsome. thanks everyone

cant happen for any reasonable sum of money.......i saw it done years ago with an alpine head unit but it was done by someone with intricate knowledge of the inner workings of the alpine head.....

They dont make any kind of adapter for that car.

Only way I can think of is if Panasonic offers a Wired remote and you basicly use it for the wiring harness?

Great idea! The wired remote! Um yea i bet that would work too.

So go on and buy one of the Alpine HU's with a Wired Remote and try it all out, see if you can get the Steering wheel to work with it :) !

the panasonic decks dont have wired but i thought if i did i could wire it in but that interface thing should work perfect might take a few hours to do it but i think it will work great. anyone else have any input. thanks everyone so far

Yeah sinister, that pac audio control should work. Its the same one I have in the Accord.
