Yeah, lotas, I pretty much agree with your opinion and experience with thezeb.com. I have been a repeat customer for several years now. I have always found their customer service and responsiveness to be way better than average for a web vendor. Fortunately, I live in Northern Virginia, so my orders from North Carolina usually get here in 2 days. And, they often have great sales prices. For example, I got:
2 now discontinued CDT 10" subs -- highly efficient 150 watts rms, part of my campaign to have quality sound WITHOUT a HO alternator :-) -- for $60 apiece, don't remember the original price but it was significantly more
CDT TW25SLP imagers (supertweeters), reg. price $150, on sale for $60
CDT 519S "Stagefront" imaging systems for their superior X-overs, which I'm using with the above, reg. price $230, sale $100
Satellite tuner/antenna for my Clarion HU, reg. price $210, sale $85
Then there is their great "match any price" program. You give them a link to any website with a lower price and they will get back to you with a better offer, usually in a couple of hours. I got:
Clarion DXZ745MP HU, reg. $400, got it for $250
Precision Power PCX2125 (pre-Directed Audio buy-out), reg. price $580, got is for $350
CDT EuroSport 630 comps, reg. price $618, got the pair for $427 -- and what surprised me about this was that the price on the other site I referenced was $475, yet they gave me $427
So, all this translates into some pretty good savings. My only disappointment with them in recent months is that they seem to be gravitating toward more lower-quality brands like Boss, Audiobahn, Power Acoustik and Kole. But, as long as you are an informed consumer you can wade through the crap and get some decent deals on some decent equipment.
