Change wiring? Fuse / Guage?

I read the FAQ for wiring and fuse size and wanted to make sure I am undertanding. First I'll explain my amps and wiring right now.

1 Orion 800 watt amp
1 Kicker 350 watt amp
1 Hifonics Brutus BX1500 (about 800 watts)
1 JL Audio 500/1

I have all 4 of these amps wired using 4 guage into a streetwires combo distribution block. All wires are less then 2 feet long. Using 4 fuses (i think they are 50 amp) for the distr. block.

Then I have one 4 guage power wire going to my batteries. About 3 feet long wire with 1 inline fuse (80 amp) at the battery.

The problem is I keep blowing this inline fuse at the battery. If I understand the FAQ guide, I should be using 0 or 1 guage from the distri. block to the battery and a 260+/- amp fuse there. Is this correct? Comments?

Should be able to add up all the fuses on your amp and thats what you need for an inline fuse.

If you have 50 amp fues at the distro for each amp I cant figure why you would think a single 80 for all would be sufficient?

Also 4 Ga even for 3' is to small for that amperage...

It was fine (nothing blew) until I added the JL 500/1 and now it's blowing in 30 seconds. I was just confirming my thought process. 0 or 1 guage to the battery and a 200 amp fuse at the battery. What type of inline fuse should I use for that size?
