Brama 2 12" question?
I have been thinkin that i would get new subs with my new truck next year and the name of Bramah came up and i heard that these things bang any suggestions... I was thinkin i would like to hear the positives and the negs about them, as well if u think that 1000 w of juice is enough for the both combined.

Yea the new ones are rated for 600w rms, but i'm sure they'll handle 1000 daily with no problem. They did downsize the coils to 2" I believe but still i'm sure they'll handle plenty of power. Part the reason the power handling was reduced so much, aside from the new coils, probably had to do with dumbasses that clip the hell out of their amps and run lots of power to their Brahmas and wonder why they need a recone. That's just a guess, but I think they're tryin to play it safer this time around.William from NOLA wrote:For the new Brahmas that haven't been released yet, yea, that would be enough for two. For last years model, I would recommend minimum of 600 wRMS each in a larger ported box or 800 wRMS in a smaller sealed box.

Well i have been thinking about it and i think that it would not be right for me to buy the Brahmas cause i wouldnt be able to afford that but i have been thinking that i would go with either 1 12" Kenwood Excelon (the older one with the black cone and red Excelon label) or An Eclipse Aluminum 12 or 15 cause i know where i can get one for about $150 which one would u reccomend using with a 1000w Kenwood amp?
