how bad are blaupunkt speakers??

Hi guys.
I am lookin for main speakers and came across the visually stunning
blaupunkt tsc650. are blaupunkt speakers so bad that it's good looks will not be be able to compensate for its lack of 'personality'

I'm running two pairs of Blau Coaxials in my Jeep right now. I was choosing between them and Infinity References. For about $20 less the Blau's were damn near as good as the Ref's, especially if you're running them off the HU. I'm sure the Ref's would have shined more off an amp, but for the money they're nice sounding Coaxials.

I run my Blaupunkt coaxils up front in my saturn, they're not horrible... you're talking about the ones with the blue cones right? i don't really like the way they look myself, but htey're good speakers for $40

yep, those are the ones. I paid a little more than that a while back, but that's because I bought them at a local shop. I believe they were $60 a pair.

I thini made one of my blapunkt coaxils a paperweight last night on my break at work.. not sure though? all i know is that the driverside-front speaker stopped playing in the middle of the song

not to high jack your thread and fly it into anything but is a crackling sound during certain vocal notes mean my speaker is blown?

An update on my situation... it was indeed a loose connectoin. one of the connetors fell off (
i wanted to buy another pair of memphis speakers. might anyway, though
)
Also, is it more of a buzzing or what? For a while i thought i blew one of my speakers, but turns out it was the a wire comming from the tweeter hitting the cone.
