been a long time but figured id ask here first vs the other places.
looking for little subs that go deep. dont really have enough room to run anything else in my dd its a gmc c1500 sierra back seat is for kids but i figure i can put some subs under the seat and fit up to 10s in there but id rather go with 6.5s or 8s because after years of using monsters id like to try something new.
noticed just about everyone has 6.5s and 8s now just unsure of which are worth a shit and which arent.
been looking at the ct sounds subs (remember when he came on here years ago before he was well known selling his deadener?) then the DDs. i wish the epic 8s from tc sounds were around still.

Hey There, welcome back.
When it comes to small enclosure subs, I haven't had the best of luck. I always expect/want more out of them then what they can do.
I've had a Pioneer shallow mount, and also a Dayton shallow mounts in the factory location in the 4Runner. Out of those 2, the Dayton is better and required less air space. Both were 10s. I do get more low end out of them, but I just always want more. lol. At least this time I'm doing my best not to blow another one.

Oh whatever you choose, after you've had them installed for awhile. Come back and write a review of them.

i got an 07 kicker 10 with a 250x1 in a box that looks like its built exactly to kickers specs in the manual for 2 4gb sticks of ddr3. ill probably get rid of these soon
it seems like the box is tuned too high and the amp seems fairly weak. real 8 gauge wont fit in it. it can get decently loud but wont do the lows so ill probably build a different box or just deal with it for a couple weeks until i get the ct sounds 6.5s or 8s plan on 4 of those under the rear seats.
gotta have room for my kids but im already thinking i may swap out the bench seat for buckets or a center console box so i can throw some real subs in there. then i keep thinking blow through,

That's awesome.
Would you mind doing a review of each and posting them here?

yeah i can do that. im thinking i might get some shallow mount subs too. been looking at the memphis slims ive got a few of their amps still and i had some of the old tc9 based mojos all pretty good idk about the slims but whatever. then ppi and sounstream both sell the same one with a 5 inch coil that looks interesting. skar has a few but i wouldnt really call the smaller ones subs at least at first glance.
i had been mining all year and just cashed out to btc then the btc price jumped so ive got some money to play with. 2 years ago it payed for some 18 inch tc sounds passive radiators an old mm4000 then i took the rest and bought amazon gift cards to pay for stuff for quite a while
anyways i dont think im gonna build specific boxes for each im gonna do the max size possible for under the rear seat then behind the rear seat then i can easily make them smaller if needed or polyfill them. wiill likely port the under seat box forward or to the side then the behind seat box port up. will try to make them adjustable too
