Hi all,

I am about to start putting in a Brax X2400 to run my four doors and a Brax X1000 for my subwoofer, but I am a little unsure if I should opt for a new AGM battery, or just keep the standard 100Ah battery already there?

Hi, Welcome to the forum.
Do you plan on doing more engine off listening to the stereo?

A bigger battery is just going to give you more engine off time.
I would just get a good reliable battery, that meets or slightly exceeds what the car requires.

How is your charging system?

Thank you. Charging system is almost new, battery as well.

Not planning alot of off engine time.

My system is: iPad, HRT iStreamer, Audison Bit Ten D, Brax amplifiers, Mundorf caps, Alpine SPR-60C speakers and a Hertz Mille ML2500 sub

I honestly wouldn't bother with replacing the battery.
The only thing I would do, is do theBig 3 for your wiring and you should be OK.

be sure to add the pics of your build to your garage, that way they don't get lost in the forum.

I will look at uploading them there when I am done.

Placement of caps, any reasons not to put them here?

Got a little more done tonight, and tomorrow the caps are going in as well. Have been fiddling with the mount in order to have them sitting firmly in that position..
