First off Id like to go ahead and say hi to everyone,I'm a new audio enthusiast so I am fairly new to this kind of thing and thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
I recently bought a 93 lexus sc400 as a project car and Im working on rebuilding and fixing all the mechanical/electric issues with it and about a week ago I was driving and found out my alternator was bad and the battery was pretty much shot too. I replaced the battery (speakers worked fine) and the next day i replaced the alternator. The audio worked fine after the battery swap however once i replaced the alternator and started up the car there is zero sound coming out of any of my speakers. The console lights up,buttons all work fine, etc but the speakers are acting completely dead. I've done some Googling and searched the forum and i didn't find anything really relevant. Someone suggested a possible blown fuse but would that not shutoff the audio console as well? I was also told it might be a ground? Im just so new to this sort of thing and im trying to figure out what to check first, second etc. The wiring, speakers, and console are all factory by the way. Could it still possibly be something as simple as a blown fuse?
Sorry for the lack if inexperience and I'll be glad to provide any info i left out that you may need. Thanks!
