Camry alarm question

I've got a question about the stock alarm on my 98 Camry le. I've searched for answers but couldn't find anything. My question is does the stock alarm (Karr) go off when the windows get smashed? I don't know if it does or not. I'm asking because I want to get a double din dvd hu. Thanks for the help.
